I love fashion, makeup, and all sorts of artsy/crafty things.

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been gone forever. Today I’m trying out some yellow eyeliner, which is actually eye shadow. I pretty much followed a tutorial on the modcloth blog.
I used MAC eye shadow in chrome yellow. I did try some white eyeliner as a primer like it suggested in the tutorial, but mine was poor quality. I ended up just using an eyeliner brush, wet it to get a crisp line and only used the eye shadow. I assume it would show up a lot nicer or a tanner person. I’m pale enough that it kind of blends in haha

why u no update??

To be honest, I’ve been very busy with visiting colleges and kinda forgot about this blog (since I only have one post on it ) :X I’ll post some new stuff within the next few days I promise!

Valentine’s Day Makeup!

A playful and sparkly makeup look for Valentine’s Day or any other day! :D
Here is what I did:

I started off by using Covergirl’s Natureluxe Silk Foundation  for my face, my skin was dry so it turned out a little flaky(be sure to moisturize!)

I then used Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion to prime my eyelids for MAC Eyeshadow in Passionate. I applied it with a wet brush to get a more defined edge to the color. With a dry brush I put Maybelline Chic Naturals Vanilla on the inner corners of my eyes and blended outward.

Next I took Almay Liquid Liner in Black and lined my upper eyelids and created a wing at the end. For mascara I used Covergirl Lash Blast Volume in Very Black. I like to apply concealer after my eyeshadow/liner/mascara, lately I have been using Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer.

Lastly I used Maybelline Color Sensation Lipgloss in Pink Perfection on my lips. The finishing touch was adding Sephora Glitter Eyeliner in Silver on the outer corners of my eyes underlining the wing of my eyeliner.

I hope this little write-up was helpful to some of you! :)
